Yo-yos

I have gotten interested in yo-yos. Yo-yos are really cool. You can do lots of cool tricks with them. It is also really fun to yo-yo. Yo-yos that sleep longer are for more advanced tricks. Sleeping is when the yo-yo stays at the bottom of the string for a while, and then when the yo-yo slows down you give a tug and then the yo-yo should come back up.

I play lots of yo-yo with my friends at school. I've learned some tricks like "atomic bomb" and "mach 5." These tricks are pretty hard. But once you've learned them, they're really easy.

I'll show you some of the yo-yos that I like.


This yo-yo is called the Mini Motu. Even though it looks big, it is a very small yo-yo. This yo-yo is a very good yo-yo for advanced tricks: it sleeps long; it has a butterfly shape which means that is very good for landing the yo-yo on the string when you flip it over your finger. This is the yo-yo I really want to get.

The Aquarius is a very big yo-yo. It is used for a type of yo-yo-ing called offstring. Offstring is a hard kind of yo-yo-ing to do. It is when the yo-yo comes off the string, but you land it on the string and do lots of things with it.

The Borg

The Borg have some really good ships. Their ships are huge. They are good, too. I'll show you a picture of the Borg's best ship.



The Cube is a really good ship. The Cube costs a lot to build. The Borg have a special factory that transfigures one Borg ship to a Romulan, Klingon or Federation ship. Like, let's say the Borg Cube goes into it and comes out as a Romulan ship. It will come out as the Warbird. If you go back my Star Trek Ships post, you will see that the Warbird is a good ship.

If you go back to my Star Trek post, you will see that Enterprise is a good ship, too.

Stories I've Written

The first story I wrote was a sequel to Rumpelstilskin. It is about Rumplestilskin going out in space and creating some new worlds. He adopted a baby and named him Pusput. He found lots and lots of planets that he turned into new worlds. It is a very long story. I'm still writing it. It is thirteen pages long.

Here's a picture of a story that I like. It is called Children of the Lamp.



The story is about djinn. It is a very good story. I think you should read it.

Another story I've written is called "The Dog's Bark." It is about why the dog barks. The dog barks because Cat threw a sensor into his mouth that barked whenever somebody bad came along.

3. Cartoon Network: this one has some fun games.
   
4. First in Math: it has some hard math problems.

I recommend you going on Shockwave or Bonus. They have some very cool games. It is fun to play some of the games on Shockwave. One of my favorite games is Superstar Chefs. It's where you have chefs and you jump around with them and try to get all the fruits without getting killed.



One of my favorite games on Cartoon Network is a game where you go around and kill pumpkins, and it is very hard. The hardest level I've got to is Level 3. It is called The Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

School

I don't like school. Math is boring. It is too easy for me. I am advanced in math. My favorite subject is computer. It is fun to make websites like this. I have never made a website before.

My other subjects are:

• language arts
• social studies
• Spanish
• science
• gym
• music
• ... and so on.

I have a lot of subjects, don't I? Some of the subjects are more fun than others. Like gym is better than writing. Music is better than reading. Writing is better than reading. And gym is better than music. I like math a lot, too.

• and special days where we get extra recess or other special things.

Star Trek Ships

There's lots of ships in Star Trek Armada. There are so many that I couldn't count them. There will be two pictures in this post. Here is the picture of the Warbird.



The Warbird is a very good ship. If you go back to my Star Trek post, you see the Enterprise. The Enterprise is a very good ship, too. There are four good ships, because there are four races. The four races are: Romulan, Federation, Borg and Klingon. Here's the picture of a Klingon guy:



I think the Romulons are the best race. They have a special ship with an effect that destroys its own ship and destroys every other ship in its circumference. It is a very good ship.

Problem of the Week

There will be a new problem of the week every week. Here is the problem of the week.

Talking about math

Math is a very fun thing to talk about. I know how to measure the area of a circle. It is pi * r^2. You get pi by taking a cylinder and measuring the diameter and the circumference of the circle on the bottom. You divide the circumference by the diameter, and if your measurements are accurate, you should get pi. Pi is a very cool number. I'll show you the digits I know: 3.141592653589793.

There's a another special number called phi. The ways to get it are, there's a special series and it goes: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, ... and so on. It is the Fibonacci series. As you see, the way to get the next number is to add the two numbers before it together. To get phi, you take a bigger number and divide it by the smaller number. As you go higher and higher, it gets closer to phi. Here are the digits I know of phi: 1.6180.... Another name for phi is the Golden Ratio. There's a special rectangle that you can get with phi and it is called the perfect rectangle. The perfect rectangle's sides, if you divide the bigger number by the smaller number, you get phi.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was very fun. I got lots of cookies. I can't believe I got so many sweethearts. (They are a kind of candy. They are disgusting!) I got so many candies. This was the best Valentine's Day ever. Everybody was really happy with me, especially my parents, because I gave them cookies.



I had the Valentine's Day party at school. I wrote a story. It was a very scary story. It was about a magical doll that kills people. This is a story that I read in a book. When I read it, it scared me so much I couldn't sleep.

I hope I have Valentines like this every year. I got more Valentines than I expected.

We made a heart where everybody wrote something that they liked about us. They wrote nice things.

Star Trek

I've been playing a computer game called Star Trek Armada. I love it! I play it every day, if I can. It is a really fun game. I'm going to show you a picture of a ship.



This ship is the Enterprise. It is a good ship.

You can build some really good ships with advanced shipyards in the Star Trek Armada game. The preview before the game is really good.

Chess-a-mania

I have been playing chess for a long time. My rating is going to be over 1000. I really love to play chess.



I like the position when you get a queen for a knight: e4-e5, Nf3-Nf6, Nxe5-Nxe4. And then Qe2-N anywhere, Nxc6+ winning the queen!

I won a first place trophy in my last tournament. I won all five games. My toughest game was against a person whose rating was 920. I lost my queen in the opening, and I got it back when I was ahead 2 minor pieces and a pawn. He made a stupid mistake. He hung his queen. That means putting it in an undefended, attacked square.

I am going to the State Chess Tournament. I am going to play in the K-3 Open and the K-9 U1000. It is going to be really hard. I am going to have to play some tough players. I think I'm going to do very well in the K-9 U1000. My rating officially isn't yet over 1000.
